Here at Fountain City we feel that music plays a very important role in worship. That is why we feel so blessed to have the wonderful music ministry that we have here. God has blessed us by providing many talented singers and instrumentalists. We do all that we can to provide ample opportunity for talented individuals to serve in whatever musical capacity suits them best.
Here are some of the musical opportunities provided to members of Fountain City.
CHOIR
We are so blessed to have a great choir that ministers to the congregation each and every Sunday. They meet on Sunday afternoons for practice in our choir room. They work diligently to learn new song, special programs, and musicals throughout the year. Our choir ministry is built around the goal of singing songs that minister to the congregation.
SPECIAL MUSIC
If you are gifted in singing and are a part of the FCBC Choir, then we encourage you to sing special music for our services. This usually takes place right before the pastor’s message. It is a great way to minister to others out in the congregation. We are a church that loves music, so when you stand up to sing you will be looking into the faces of friends who are eager to hear the song that God has laid on your heart.
INSTRUMENTALISTS
We are always looking for those gifted in playing instruments. If this is something you feel equipt to do, we have instrumentalist play for offertories, special music, and other events.
